Raghav
Narsalay works as an Economist at the Focus-India Programme office. He is
a graduate in statistics and has completed his postgraduation in economics
at the University of Mumbai. For the last eight years he has been working
on international trade, investment, competition policy issues as well as macroeconomic
issues at the state, national, regional and the international level. He has
been associated with the consumer protection movement both nationally and
internationally as well as the electoral reform movement in India. Before
joining FOCUS, he has worked with Tata Services and Consumer Unity & Trust
Society (CUTS) in the capacity of an economic analyst. He has also carried
out research for, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry & Ministry of Textiles,
Government of India and multilateral bodies like the UNCTAD.
