Manufacturing a Crisis: The Politics of Food Aid in Indonesia

Report of the fact-finding mission of the South East Asia Council for Food Security and Fair Trade

This report exposes the fact that the 'food crisis' in Indonesia was an orchestrated one. Though the food situation was bad, it did not call for food aid but instead needed prudent economic policies that would provide opportunities for people to buy food.
