This report exposes the fact that the 'food crisis' in Indonesia was an orchestrated one. Though the food situation was bad, it did not call for food aid but instead needed prudent economic policies that would provide opportunities for people to buy food.Some of the authors of this report are members of the Staff of Focus on the Global South.
